Happy Sol’s Day!
My daily routine is usually only interrupted by a couple things – sickness, family events, and Sol’s Day. Sunday is a time to reset things for the week to come. The routine has to be different because some things only get done on Sunday. The other thing that happens is rest. For real.
My Routine Looks something like this as far as the Sunday reset:
- Do Laundry – I really try to do this every week and given the number of clothes I have fits a week-long schedule, it comes out perfect.
- Clean the whole of where I live. The whole place gets cleaned
- Look at the daily routine and make adjustments.
- Do what I want to do. Mostly this is a hard reaction to being a pastor. Those days were a lot of work so I tend to be lazy on Sunday. Maybe a Youtube video, but that’s about it.
In the end, Sunday is far more of a day of rest than it ever was as a pastor. On the one hand, I do work which is forbidden by the Bible, on the other hand, I sit back and do nothing in reaction to how when I was a pastor the Sabbath (a debatable day) was never a day of rest to me.
Have a great day everyone.
